In Class 4 this week, the year 6 pupils have been using algebra to solve multi-step problems in maths whilst the year 5s have continued to work with fractions. In English, we have began reading our new non-fiction text - Are Humans Damaging the Atmosphere. So far we have learnt about the layers of Earth’s atmosphere and the gases that reside there.
We had a second morning of working on the Green Power race car and w have now fitted the seat and steering rod, although it is yet to be connected to the wheels. We have also created our car designs ready to start making the bodywork next time.
In geography, we have been learning about food miles - how much carbon is produced bringing certain foods to our table.
