Image of Spring Term 1 - Week 5

Well it has been another great week in Class 3! In English, we have started focusing on a new writing outcome which is to write an information text all about Roman Soldiers. We identified the features of an information text and have written sentences about a Roman Soldiers uniform using subordinate clauses. In Maths, Year 4 have been finding the perimeter of rectilinear shapes whilst Year 3 have been exploring different lengths including metres, centimetres and millimetres. In History, we learnt about the famous Celtic warrior, Boudicca, and why she started a rebellion against the Romans. In PSHE, we had a thoughtful discussion about what it means to fail and that it is ok if we do not get things right straight away as failure can stand for ‘First Attempt In Learning’. Well done Class 3 for another great week!
