Class 1 spring 2 week 1

In Monster Phonics we have been looking at Miss Oh No-oa this week. The children have played magic tricks and have done word hunts around the classroom.

In literacy we have read Jack and the Beanstalk. They sequenced the story and created a story map.The nursery children re-enacted the story wearing their masks.

In maths the children have been learning about length. They have been exploring longer than, shorter than, taller, smaller, wide and widest etc.

In music we explored fast and slow. The children explored playing notes quickly and slowly. 

We have begun exploring spring and new life and are looking forward to planting beans next week.
