Our first week back has flown by in Class 4. In English, we have been reading the book Dragonology and writing in a similar style. In maths, year 6 have been learning how to use a protractor and finding different angles. Year 5 have also started using protractors.
During our science lesson this week, we learnt about the parts of plants and how they reproduce. We drew life-like sketches and labelled them. It has been perfect timing for the beautiful weather as we have been starting our ew PE topic - cricket. We practised catching and basic batting techniques.
We have had our sixth Richard Crosse Racing session this week with Dr Allen; we have almost fitted all of the bodywork on to the cars now and they are pretty much ready for driver training next time.
