Summer Term 2 - Week 1

What a fantastic first week back at school! In English, we are learning to write a persuasive brochure to persuade people to visit the holiday island of Sicily. We have explored how to use rhetorical questions and catchy headlines. In Maths, Year 4 have identified and compared a range of angles such as right angles, acute angles and obtuse angles. Year 3 have been learning about days and hours within our time unit and have explored how to find the duration between start and end times. We found it useful to use a number line to jump onto the next hour. In Art, we used recyclable materials to make sculptures and our theme was ‘Under the Sea’. We are really proud of our sculptures! In PE, we enjoyed playing our first rounders match and learning all of the rules. Well done Class 3, keep up the superb effort.
