Summer term 2, Week 2

We have loved that the sun has been shining all week and have made the most of being able to go outside! In English, Year 2 have been looking at instructional writing. We started the unit off by completing an obstacle course on the playground. We had to work with our partner, using precise language to direct them around the course. Some of us were better at it than others! In Maths, Year 1 have been focussing upon numbers to 100. They have counted in ones and tens to 100 and have had a go at partitioning 2 digit numbers into tens and ones. Art is our focus for foundation subjects this week. We are looking at collage and have created some great collages of birds, faces and collages of our favourite things in our initials.
