AutumnTerm 1- Week 4- Class 2

We had our first visit as a class to the church this week for our Harvest Festival Service. Miss Derry was very proud of our behaviour and the performance that we gave in church. We learnt the significance of scarecrows to harvest and sang the Dingle Dangle Scarecrow song with actions. It was a little bit scary performing in front of all the adults but we did it! In English, we came to the end of our unit on Dear Zoo. We had to rewrite the story in our own words, remembering capital letters, full stops and finger spaces. Some of us even managed to add in some extra details too! We are looking forward to finding out what our new book will be next week!
