Class 2- Autumn Term 1- Week 8

We started off the week learning all about inspirational black women in history. We completed a rotation of different activities, learning about Mary Seacole, Rosa Parkes, Shirley Bassey and Tessa Sanderson. Lots of fun and learning was had! In English, we have been looking at poems to do with autumn. We have read lots of different ones, thinking carefully about expression when reading aloud. We then went on a senses walk around school before using what we discovered to write our own acrostic poems. We are looking forward to having a rest over half term and spending lots of time with our families. Happy half term!
