Welcome back everyone!
This week we have been learning about the Artic. The children have learnt about the artic animals. The reception children have wrote a sentence about an animal or how the Inuit people travelled using sledges and husky dogs. They have compared winter in England with life in the artic.
The Pre-school children have made walruses using paint and paper plates.
In maths, the children have looked at number bonds to 5 and the Reception children have looked at the position of die dots. We went on a hunt around the school searching for zero.
In music we listened to Vivaldi’s winter. The children really enjoyed this. Some of the children explored percussion instruments to see if they reminded them of things associated with winter.
