Class 1 spring 2 week 2
It has been a fun filled week!
The children listened to the traditional tale of Hansel and Gretel. They have re-enacted the story through role play and made Gingerbread cottages made from the gingerbread biscuits that they baked.
In Monster Phonics the reception children learnt the diagrams ‘ai’. I am proud of how confident some of the children have become with their writing.
In Maths the children learnt about time…days of the week, months of the year and the seasons.
They also timed physical activities using sand timers.
In RE they continued to learn about Easter.
In PSED the children listened to and discussed ‘The boy who cried wolf’. They discussed with their partners if it is ever ok to tell lies.
We look forward to seeing you at the Mother’s Day service next week.
