This week, in Class 3, we have started a new book in English called Cinnamon because we are focusing on writing a story from another culture. We have been writing diaries and letters to emphasise with the character whilst using a range of conjunctions such as because, but, if and when. In Maths, Year 4 have started learning about fractions. We have been recognising wholes and finding fractions of shapes. Year 3 has moved onto learning about length and perimeter. They have specifically been measuring in millimetres and centimetres. In Science, we are learning about the human body. We enjoyed playing a game of Simon Says to help us remember the anatomical names for the bones. We particularly found it amusing learning what phalanges are. As well as this, we have been practising for our Mothering Sunday Service and Easter production. Keep up the great work Class 3!
