Class 2- Spring 2- Week 3

We started the week off with a visit to church for our Mother’s Day service. We thought very carefully about why we love our Mum’s and were excited to share our reasons with everyone in church. In English, this week, we started to retell the story of Vlad and the Great Fire of London. We have loved reading this book and finding out all about Vlad and Boxton. We have tried really hard to include all of the features that we have been taught in our lessons to make our writing as interesting as possible. In History, we have begun to look in detail at how the Great Fire started and where it started. We are really enjoying this topic. For science, we went outside and looked at the different types of tree we have that surround school. We discussed whether they are deciduous or evergreen. It has been another very busy week in Class 2!
