Summer Term 1 - Week 4

This week in Class 3, we have written fiction and non-fiction explanation texts. They are written clearly and are presented beautifully. In Maths, Year 3 have been comparing, adding and subtracting capacity whilst Year 4 have been dividing 1- and 2-digit numbers by 100. We have also been busy practising our times tables in preparation for our MTC. In science, we explored how our muscles support movement within our bodies and created a working arm with elastic bands to show how muscles contract and relax. In Geography, we analysed our data from our surveys and discovered that the most popular amenity which people would like to see in Kings Bromley is a doctor’s surgery. Next week we will draw sketch maps of our local area. Well done Class 3!
