Summer Term 1-Week 4-Class 2

In our English lessons this week, we have moved on to a new topic. We are learning all about non-chronological reports. We have read different non-chronological reports and looked at the features of them. We decided that we wanted to learn about penguins, as it fits in with our Geography lessons as well. We spent a lesson researching all about penguins and made lots of notes. We have then started to use our notes to write sentences that inform people. In Geography, we continued to look at hot and cold places around the world. On Thursday we had to dress up ready for a visit to a different place and our friend had to try and guess where we were going from what we were wearing. We loved doing this! We have also had out the laptops and have been using our knowledge of The Great Fire of London to work our way through a game. It’s quite tricky! We are looking forward to the Bank Holiday weekend and hope that the sun is going to shine for us!
