Image of Summer Term 2 - Week 6

This week, in Class 3, we have been writing sentences in English to describe the journey of the stone. We have been exploring using time adverbials to express how much time has passed by. I am really impressed with the rich vocabulary which is being used, it really helps your sentences to be descriptive. In Maths, Year 4 have been identifying right angels, comparing angles, measuring and drawing accurately with a ruler and identifying horizontal and vertical lines. Year 4 have been identifying quadrilaterals, polygons, line of symmetry and completing a symmetrical figure. On Monday, we enjoyed a whole day of art where the Year 3s produced rainforest dioramas and the Year 4s made junk modelled sculptures of famous buildings such as ‘Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower and Buckingham Palace’. On Tuesday, we really enjoyed watching the Class 4 perform their play ‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’. They were fantastic! Another great week Class 3.
