Summer Term 2- Week 7- Class 2

On Monday, we finally got to make our diamond kites. We followed the instructions really carefully but some steps were a little bit tricky and we had to help each other. The best part was getting to fly them. The weather was perfect and they flew really well. Someone even managed to get theirs stuck in the tree! We all thought it was really funny as it was like the story we had been reading in English, Stuck! We didn’t throw more things up to get it down though, Mrs Partington came to the rescue! We have also done lots of maths this week. Year 1 have been learning all bout money. They have identified coins and notes and had a go at counting different amounts in coins. Year 2 have continued their work on position and direction, focusing upon clockwise and anti-clockwise turns. It has been a very busy week!
