Autumn Term 1 - Week 4

This week, in Class 3, we really enjoyed showcasing our harvest artwork in church. In Maths, we have been comparing and ordering numbers using the mathematical language ascending and descending. As well as this, we have been rounding numbers to the nearest 10 and 100. We’ve been using this rhyme to help us ‘zero to 4 slide to the floor, five to nine climb the vine’. In English, we have been writing character descriptions to describe an Egyptian God. Also, we have been writing sentences using past tense verbs which end with the suffix –‘ed’ such as travelled, trudged, sailed and journeyed. In PE, we have been focusing on controlling the ball when dribbling and passing. We talked about how important it is to change direction when playing and practiced drag backs to allow us to change direction. Overall a super week. Well done Class 3!
