What a memorable week it has been! The majority of the week has been dedicated to our residential trip to Dearne Valley. Over the three days, our children impressed with exceptional behaviour and resillience on show. Namely, their resolve to battle through the torrential weather conditions should not be overlooked. Activities such as Jack's Ladder, Climbing Wall, Problem Solving, Laser Tag, Low Ropes, Scarpheap Challenge and many more made the three days fly by and showed off some hidden talents. It was often mentioned how much the children enjoyed the generous food portions and time that they could spend in their dorms.

On Thursday, we continued our addition and subtraction topic, planning our English and began creating Christmas cards for parents to purchase online at an upcoming date.

Friday began with French where Class 4 enjoyed learning words to describe our appearance and in particular and as a strategy to help us remember the words we looked at the etymology of some of the words - such as "le corps" (body), "les dents" (teeth). Then we explored the inverse operation in maths and began our suspense stories in English. In the afternoon, we finished our Christmas cards and played some games of handball.
