Autumn Term 1 - Week 5

This week, in Class 3, we have completed our independent write. We thought carefully about how we can adapt the story of the Egyptian Cinderella to produce our own story set in another culture. We broke down our story into paragraphs and used our plans and word mats to help us throughout. In Maths, we have been rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 or 1000. As well as this, we have been learning Roman Numerals. We sang a great song to help us remember them and the rule. In History, we learnt about how Tutankhamun’s tomb was discovered by Howard Carter and then completed a metacognition quiz to review all of our learning from our wonderful history topic. Overall, a great week. Well done Class 3!
