Class 1 Week 6 autumn 2024

This week we have been talking about being kind. The children talked about kind hands and we made a tree to put our kind handprints on.

On Tuesday the children learnt about food that is harvested during the autumn. We looked at the artist Acrimboldo and the children made portraits using fruit and vegetables.

In maths, Preschool explored shapes and Reception explored tall and small, long and short.

Today the children have prepared the garden for Winter. They removed the dead plants and planted some winter flowering pansies.
