The final week of a wonderfully full term has been a blast.
In Maths, we delved into the fascinating world of squares and cube numbers. We explored patterns, solved equations, and even drew counters in arrays to visualize these mathematical concepts.
Over in Art, our creativity soared as we channeled our inner architects. Inspired by the famous architects we've studied, we designed and created our own unique buildings. From towering skyscrapers to cozy cottages, our masterpieces were truly impressive!
In French, we summarised our learning from the term, focusing on how to describe a person's appearance and clothing using correct word order. To put our skills to the test, we designed our own "wanted" posters in French, complete with detailed descriptions of the fictional criminals we created.
Our Science experiment this week was a sticky success! We investigated the properties of different materials by creating our own glue using various ingredients. We also learned about the accidental discovery of the Post-it note, a classic example of how sometimes, the best inventions happen by chance.
Throughout the week, we also had the opportunity to participate in bike ability sessions. We learned important safety skills, practiced our cycling techniques, and had a blast exploring our local area on two wheels.
What a fantastic way to end the term! We're all looking forward to a well-deserved break and can't wait to see what adventures await us in the new term.
