Class Two have had another epic week! Outdoor Learning Day was amazing! We did so many things, like the Traditional tales scavenger hunt, practicing our maths skills with tens and ones using sticks and stones, acting out traditional tales and playing parachute games. We also collected leaves, sticks, and pinecones to make pictures inspired by the traditional tales we've been learning about. This week in Maths, we've been mastering our understanding of place value with lots of fun activities like tens and one’s bingo. In music we have been learning about different genres (Blues, Latin and baroque so far!) and learning our song “In the groove” in the style of those genres. We have used a variety of instruments such as the glockenspiel, maraca and tambourine, to help us tap out the rhythm. we are getting lots better at this. It has been a very long half term and we are looking forward to having a rest over half term! Have a great week!
