Class 1 autumn 2 Week 2 2024

This week in Monster Phonics the children have learnt the phonemes h and b.

On Monday the children listened to a story about Remembrance Day and they all made a poppy or printed a poppy picture.

On Tuesday, the children discussed changes in seasons and studied hibernating animals. They have made bears, bats and hedgehogs.

In maths the children had a go at doing lots of activities involving 1,2 and 3. They practised forming the numbers correctly.

We have started learning our nativity songs and we listened to the Christmas story. The children enjoyed playing with our new nativity scene.

The children really enjoyed learning about spiders today and how important they are for our eco system.
