Class 4 Week 5 Autumn 2

This week we have been learning about many things including Hidden Figures ,Fractions prepering for our Christmas Fare and Christingle Service. Hidden Figures is our english topic and it is all about the people left in the dark during the first moon landing mission with NASA. Maths as usuall is a learning curve for all of us for we are talking about fractions from equivialant's to mixed numbers.We also planed our DT  prodject , which is creating fairground ride including motors and a pully ,the groups are of 4 children all working together to create a moving disk whilst decorateing the outer design of the frame.On top of all of that we got to have our class reward. During the reward we split into two ,some of them playing football and others playing Blooket (which is a learning platform were you play games on certain topics such as Christmas or Geography). 

This week is the Christmas Fare so on Tuesday we spent the day preparing all the stalls and posters for them. The stalls include Splat the Sprout, Tattoo Studio, Knock Santa of the Chimeny and many more. Getting ready for the jam-packed afternoon has been a wild ride. We all worked together to create our finall result that makes the whole school feel proud of the year 5 & 6 children.
