Autumn Term 2 - Week 5

A Busy Week in Class 3!

What a fantastic week it's been in Class 3! We kicked off the week by getting creative on Wednesday morning. We had a blast making Christingles in preparation for our upcoming service. Later that day, we took a trip to the Rugeley Rose Theatre to enjoy the wonderful pantomime "Dick Whittington."

On Thursday, we attended our Christingle service at church. It was a truly beautiful experience.

In Maths, we've been multiplying and diving into our 2, 4 and 8 times tables. We've been discovering patterns and connections between these tables.

Our English lessons have taken us into the world of poetry. We're exploring the work of Benjamin Zephaniah and we've had a lot of fun performing his famous poem "Talking Turkeys."

In DT, we've started a new project: designing seasonal stockings. We've been analyzing different stockings, considering their functionality and visual appeal.
