This week in Class 3, we’ve been busy bees!

In Maths, we’ve been diving into multiplication and division, focusing on the 3, 6, 7, 9, and 11 times tables. We’ve discovered some cool patterns within these tables that have made learning them much easier.

In English, we’ve been inspired by the talented poet Benjamin Zephaniah. We performed his poem “Talking Turkeys” and then wrote our own poems about a vegetable we think doesn’t belong on a Christmas dinner plate. Sprouts, anyone?

Over in DT, we’ve been honing our sewing skills. We’ve practiced running stitches, over stitches, button sewing, embroidery and ribbon sewing. We’ve put these skills to the test by designing and creating our own Christmas stockings, with the wonderful help of our family volunteers. A big thank you to everyone who came in to support us!

Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!
