This week, Class 3 continued their deep dive into fractions, mastering the art of comparing, ordering and finding equivalent fractions. In English, their non-chronological reports on Roman soldiers took shape, with a keen focus on adhering to the success criteria of third-person perspective, past tense, and factual language. We were thrilled to welcome Father Jeremy on Wednesday for an insightful RE session about Holy Communion, where the children had the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions. Thursday was a highlight, with our outdoor learning day proving a resounding success. From energetic den building and a thrilling fraction-based treasure hunt to creative mosaic art and a peaceful meditation, the day was filled with engaging activities. The drawing competition, with Eco-Council judging the winners for our forest area's wooden stumps, added an exciting finale. The glorious sunshine made the day even more special. Overall, it was a fantastic week, and well done to Class 3 for their hard work and enthusiasm!
