Hello Class 3! What a busy and brilliant week we've had! In Maths, we've officially conquered fractions, learning how to convert improper fractions to mixed numbers with the help of our trusty bar models and even discovering equivalent fraction families. Our RE lessons culminated in thoughtful paired work, designing reflection areas for Christians to remember Jesus and the significance of Communion. Science has seen us dive headfirst into the human body, starting with the amazing digestive system – our practical demonstration of food's journey was certainly memorable (and a little messy!). We then became tooth detectives, investigating our own pearly whites, classifying them and even using different foods and mirrors to see them in action. Our budding chefs in DT explored seasonal meat and their homemade pork meatballs were such a hit, everyone was asking for seconds! On top of all this learning, we've been putting in lots of effort rehearsing for our play next week, and the excitement is definitely building. Overall, it's been a fantastic and productive week in Class 3!
