Summer Term 2 - Week 1

What a brilliant first week back to school it's been for Class 3! We've dived straight into an exciting new decimals topic in Maths, exploring how to represent tenths as fractions, decimals, on a place value chart and even on a number line. In English, we've embarked on a thrilling adventure through the classic novel, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,"and are thoroughly enjoying reading the story. We've been busy writing descriptive sentences about the snowy setting of Narnia and even crafting advice letters to Mr. Tumnus after his predicament with Lucy. Our creativity truly shone in Art, where we planned and created amazing land art sculptures inspired by the renowned artist, Andy Goldsworthy. They were absolutely brilliant and so inventive! All in all, it's been a fantastic and productive first week back for everyone in Class 3.
