Class 1 autumn 2 week 2 2025
This week reception learned the phonemes f ff l ll and ss. The children continue to practise segmenting and blending.
Preschool have enjoyed counting syllables and listening to rhyming stories. They have enjoyed singing nursery rhymes and listening to traditional tales.
In maths, reception looked at triangles and circles. They enjoyed looking at and creating pictures inspired by Kalinsky.
We continue to practise the nativity and are enjoying learning the songs.
We have begun learning about light and colour. The children really enjoyed experimenting with colour and we will continue with this topic for the next few weeks.
