What an exciting afternoon we had yesterday when Danny Butler came in to show us his mountain biking skills. This tied in nicely with our discussion about being resilient! He talked about working hard and not giving up! We linked it to being brave and having a go, as well as trying new things.

We will continue to do some work on resilience next week.

It was lovely to see some parents in church today to celebrate Mother’s Day. We hope you enjoyed seeing our portraits. We have some very good artists in Class 1!

The children have enjoyed our Mother’s Day craft activities this week.

In maths, reception looked at the number 6. They were good at subitising patterns and used their tens frame to further explore patterns within this number.

Preschool practised matching numbers by building towers.

Next week we will be preparing for Easter and will begin planting our flowers and vegetables.

The children were very excited when they saw that their sunflowers have begun to grow!

Enjoy the weekend
