Another week has just flown by! We have been progressing nicely in our English unit based on Animalium. After developing our use of subordinate conjunctions, we planned our informative text by researching our chose class of organism. Our most recent lesson included drafting our explanatory paragraph using scientific language.
Mathematics lessons continued developing our understanding of decimals. We consolidated adding and subtracting decimals with seperate numbers of decimal places. Then, we multiplied and divided by 10, 100 and 1000 using our knowledge of place value.
In PSHE, we discussed radicalisation and prevent and understood how we can think for ourselves and not be swayed by propoganda. In Computing, we further explored databases and created our own databases in the form of a table on Google Sheets. To begin our Geography topic, we have investigated and plotted biomes on a world map developing our Atlas skills.
