The Spring term has just flown by. We have had a tremendous last week full of Easter festivities and learning. In English, we have further explored poetry and linked it to our geography topic of biomes. In maths, we have been discovering fraction decimal equivalence.

Across the rest of the curriculum, we have continued learning about non-religious worldviews in RE. In Art, our Year 5s have produced some fantastic graffiti artwork using the stencils designed over the half term. Whereas our Year 6 enjoyed outdoor learning, making ladders from branches that could support their weight. Showing great enthusiasm and effort, our final tag rugby session in PE was full of avctivities that tested our skills built up over the last several weeks.

Our year 5 and 6s impressed by leading the Easter Service on Thursday. They demonstrated great oracy by retelling the story of Good Friday and introducing all the fantastic parts of the service.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Eaglefield who has been an absolute asset to our team at Richard Crosse over the past 10 weeks. We wish her all the best for the future and she always welcome back!
