From the bright lights of the stage to the splash of the swimming pool, the children have shown incredible energy and dedication. It’s been one of those weeks where the classroom feels less like a room and more like a hub of pure creativity and hard work. The highlight for many was finally performing our school play, "A Big Green Adventure." After weeks of rehearsals, the children took to the stage to perform for both the whole school and their parents. The confidence on display was moving; whether they were delivering lines with perfect comedic timing or singing their hearts out, every child played a vital part in making the show a roaring success. A huge thank you to everyone who came to support us!

In our English lessons, we’ve been busy putting Kings Bromley on the map. The children worked hard on their spellings before diving into brochure writing. Their goal was to persuade tourists to visit our lovely village. Most of the class successfully leveled up their writing by including: rhetorical Questions, imperative verbs and intriguing facts.

We’ve kept our brains sharp in Maths this week by tackling some tricky concepts. The children have been adding mixed numbers and finding fractions of an amount. Year 4: Had their final swimming lesson of the term. To celebrate their progress, they took part in a swimming gala against another school in our Trust. The competitive spirit and sportsmanship were fantastic to see. Year 3: Completed their final Parkour lesson. They’ve made huge leaps (literally!) in their balance and agility over the last few weeks.

Towards the end of the week, we walked to the church for our Easter Service. It was a lovely moment of reflection. The children performed the song "Me," which some of you may remember from our recent concert at Lichfield Cathedral. Their voices filled the space with such an empowering message. To top it all off, the children enjoyed their hard-earned class reward on Friday. Thanks to their brilliant teamwork throughout the term, they reached their goal and voted for a "Starbucks Afternoon." The classroom was transformed into a cozy café where the children enjoyed themed refreshments (lots of hot chocolate and treats!), creative café activities and relaxed teamwork games. We finished off the day with an exciting Easter Egg Hunt.

What a way to head into the break!
