We hope you enjoy our gallery of exciting things we have done this week.

We have continued to learn about mini- beasts and have made butterflies and snails, learning about pattern and symmetry. Mrs Nilsen made butterfly cakes with the children!

In maths the children have explored creating, rotating and manipulating 2D shapes.

In Monster Phonics, the reception children have enjoyed learning words that contain the oi sounds such as coin, poison, oil and spoil etc.

Preschool have enjoyed using our new wooden dolls and cups to explore colour, subitising and counting 1 more and 1 less. They amazed me by being able to tell me when they could see an odd number or even number of dolls.

This afternoon, the children danced to Elgar’s butterfly music.

Next week we will being going on a bug hunt around school!

Please support us by hearing your child read. If they read 5 times they are entered into a draw and may win a prize!

Have a lovely weekend!
