What a fantastic start to the new school year! The children in Class 3 have settled into their new classroom brilliantly, diving straight into our daily routines and taking real ownership of our class rules. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm, maturity, and big smiles every morning as they reconnect with friends and adapt so smoothly to the expectations of their new year group.
We have already packed a huge amount of creative learning into our first week back. Inspired by our whole-school book of the week, Squirrel and Bird, the children explored themes of friendship, cooperation, and sharing through imaginative writing and lively group discussions. On top of that, our display boards are already bursting with color thanks to our latest art project. Taking inspiration from the 'Big Frieze', Class 3 designed detailed, vibrant artwork that showcases their incredible individual flair and artistic talent.
Our PE sessions kicked off with just as much energy. In Health Related Exercise, the children practiced measuring their heart rate while learning how heart rate fluctuates, before taking to the field to refine their passing and teamwork skills in football. Thank you to all our parents and carers for helping support such a smooth transition back into the school routine. Class 3 is off to a flying start, and we cannot wait to see all the wonderful things they will achieve this term!
