Spring Term 2 - Week 3

Welcome back Class 3!

What a great first week back to school we have had. We all arrived at school on Monday feeling a little nervous but as the week went on we have settled into our usual routines and really enjoyed catching up with each other. In English, we have started a new topic learning how to write persuasive brochures for a holiday destination and we chose Sicily. We recreated a guided tour of Sicily in our classroom and even went on a plane! In Maths, Year 3’s have continued learning how to compare lengths and add lengths whilst the Year 4’s have carried on with their fractions topic focussing specifically on adding and subtracting fractions. We had great fun learning about how the human digestive system works in Science and you will see from our photos that it got a little messy.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the grown-ups who have helped with our learning at home during lockdown.
