Class 2 Summer 1 Week 4

This week we have been learning all about the different seasons in Science. We have named them, discussed the months that fall in each and explored how they affect humans, animals, day length and the weather. In maths, Year 2 have completed their unit on position and direction. They have learnt how to move left, right, clockwise, anti- clockwise and make quarter, half and three quarter turns. Ask them to demonstrate their knowledge to you! Year 1 have also finished their unit on multiplication and division. They have had a go at dividing by sharing and grouping. We are still enjoying our English topic all about cheetahs and have written some very descriptive information paragraphs. Well done to Lucas for winning the 5X reader draw.
