Welcome to all the previous and new families of Class 1! Reception have had a fantastic first week, exploring our indoor and outdoor environment, making new friends and lots of learning through play. Our topic this half term is ‘All About Me!’ and our focus book this week has been ‘The Colour Monster Goes to School’ to help the children settle in, learn daily routines and all about their new school.
This week we also had a special Hedgehog visitor in our outdoor area, which the children decided to name Hedgey!
We in Class 1 are certainly looking forward to a year that will be filled with some wonderful learning! Well done to Reception for a lovely first week!
