Autumn 2 Week 3

This week we have had lots of fun. 
Our maths lesson was an active one and involved playing tag, something we all enjoy, whilst practising squaring and cubing numbers. We have moved on to multiplying numbers by 10, 100 and 1000. 

We went to the village hall and after an hour of litter picking left the area outside the hall looking spotless. We were all very enthusiastic to make the area neat. We commented on how tidy and litter free the village was on our walk to he village hall.

In English we have written our own diary pages in the style of Flossie’s diary. We have worked really hard on these and they look fantastic. 

In science we have continued with our Earth and Space topic and used grapes for a practical demonstration of a lunar eclipse.
