Happy New Year!
We were all very excited to come back to school and see our friends on Tuesday. There was a lot of chatting and laughing, which was lovely to see! Our topic this term is all about space. In English, we have been writing space acrostic poems and using noun phrases to describe aliens. There were some very funny descriptions! Our history lesson started to focus on the first moon landing. We learnt who Neil Armstrong was and when he went into space. Lots of the children have decided that they would quite like to visit the moon too. They like the idea of no gravity! We have generated lots of questions about what we would like to find out by the end of the topic. It has been a short but great first week back!
