Class 4 - Spring 1- Week 6

In our second to last week before half term, we have been working hard. In maths, Year 6s have been learning about decimals and place value to 3 decimal places. Year 5 pupils have also been working with decimals in their lessons. In English, we have finished the text - “Are humans damaging the environment?” We are now writing our own pressing questions in the same style. We will be writing a balanced argument as our independent write.

In Geography, we have been creating posters which explain ways in which energy is wasted. Dr Allen has been in again this week to work with us on our racing cars. The year 6s have been using CAD to create parts of the car whilst the year 5s have been measuring, drawing and cutting bodywork panels for the car.
