Summer 2- Week 1- Class 2

We were very excited to come back to school on Monday and tell all of our friends about the exciting things we got up to over half term. This week, we have started a Design and Technology focus in the afternoons. We have learnt a little bit about the history of kites and investigated some different types. We also carried out an investigation to find out which material might be the best for making a kite. In English, we are using the book The Great Dragon Race as a focus for our writing. We have read some of the book and have made predictions about how we think it might end. We are excited to find out next week. Today was our last PE lesson with Joe. We have loved our PE lessons with him and will miss him lots. We wish him lots of luck with his new job. A great first week back!
