Autumn 2 Week 4 2024

The weeks seem to be flying by! This week has been a blast, with the children showing great pride and commitment towards their assessments. It has been fantastic seeing what our children know already so early on in the academic year. 

In Mathematics, we have been looking at fractions: more specifically, adding and subtracting fractions. We began our English unit on Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly. In order to gain vital context, we have explored the founding of NACA and NASA by writing our own non-chronological reports based on the agencies. 

Across the wider curriculum, we have made Christmas cards, played netball and investigated historical sources to find out and evaluate what happened at Hopton Heath on 19th March 1643.
