Spring Term 1 - Week 1

A brilliant first week back, well done Class 3! In English, we have been learning about classical poetry. First, we read a range of classical poems, we discussed what they might mean and worked together to find poetic features. In Maths, we have been finding the area of 2D rectilinear shapes. In RE, we have started the topic ‘ What can we learn from a Gurdwara?’ and explored a range of different gurdwaras and who they might be special for. In music, we have been practising playing the recorder following rhyme and specific notes. Overall, a really great first week back to school.
