Class 4 Week 2 Spring 1

Class 4 have had another exciting week of learning.

Namely, in maths, we have been perfecting our written methods for long multiplication and recapping our written form of short division (bus-stop). With great enthusiasm and passion, we have been developing our persuasive letters to the government regarding the need for action against global warming.

Our PE has included mastering a dance routine and working on short sequences of floorwork in gymnastics with the hope of more of the apparatus being included as we progress through the unit. In science, we completed an experiment based on measuring our pulse and observing how this changes after exercise.

While being meticulous and observant, we practised shading using sketching pencils and charcoal on 3D objects. We have also been learning about life at school in French. Last week, we looked at some common classroom objects and this week we have been learning how to say where things are using some prepositions.

The children have enjoyed writing some super sentences using pronouns to say where some things are in the classroom.
