What a whirlwind week it's been in Class 3! We've been exploring, learning, and creating, and we're excited to share all about it.

Monday's Faith Trail Adventure: We kicked off the week with an amazing trip to Derby for a faith trail. We visited a Hindu temple, a mosque and a gurdwara. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about different religions and their places of worship. It was truly a brilliant day and we all came away with a much deeper understanding and appreciation for the diverse faiths in our community.

Maths: Fractions! This week, we've plunged into the world of fractions! We've been busy understanding numerators and denominators and learning how to compare and order fractions.

English: Crafting Roman Reports and Oracy Skills: In English, we've been focusing on writing compelling introduction paragraphs for our non-chronological reports about Roman soldiers. We've also been developing our oracy skills by using the "two stars and a wish" method to compare and evaluate different pieces of work. This has helped us to give and receive constructive feedback, improving our presentations.

DT: Seasonal Stuffed Peppers! In DT, we've been learning about seasonal fruits and vegetables. We put our knowledge to the test by making delicious stuffed peppers with couscous and vegetables. They were absolutely yummy, and it was great to see everyone enjoying the fruits (and vegetables!) of their labour.

Easter Production Practice! The afternoons have been filled with the buzz of rehearsals for our upcoming Easter production. We've been working tirelessly to learn our lines and improve our stage presence. We're all very excited to show you what we've been working on!

Overall, it's been a fantastic week filled with learning, creativity, and fun. Keep practising your lines for the Easter production, Class 3! We can't wait to see you shine!
