This week, in mathematics, we have been multiplying and dividing decimals by 10, 100 and 1000. We have understood that the digits remain the same but they move into different place value columns. For example, 4.5 x 100 would equal 450. In English, we finished our map designs and have researched a monster of our choice. This monster was then our focus of a non-chronological report that we produced.

In PE, we have focused on tag rugby and football. In our football session we began by warming up to prepare our body for physical activity. Then we did some dribbling drills that involved keeping the ball clos under control and our heads held high to be aware of our surroundings. Afterwards, we connected dribbling to passing with a focus on communication. To end the session, we applied these skills to a game context.

With impressive shading and detail, we drew and cut out flowers for our Mothering Sunday Service. The central part of the flowers included a special message that explained one thing that each pupil was grateful towards their mother/grandmother for.

In History, we have been building our knowledge in order to answer the overall unit question of: How did the ancient Greeks impact upon our modern world? This week's lesson explored their lifestyle and beliefs through investigating artefacts in the form of Greek pottery.
